Wholesale pricing from day one
Commercial accounts buy at wholesale from the first order. There is no spend threshold to unlock the base rate and no membership fee attached to the account.
A commercial account buys AMSOIL at wholesale pricing with no contract, no buying minimum, and no inventory quota. Annual purchase volume earns a discount on top of wholesale, up to 10%, and orders of $400 or more ship free.
This is the account for businesses that run lubricants through their own trucks, trailers, mowers, and machines. If you resell products off a shelf instead, the retail store account is the right path.
Lower cost per quart is the obvious win. The bigger one for most operations is fewer oil changes and less unplanned downtime.

Annual purchases of $5,000 earn 5% off wholesale, and $10,000 earns 10%. Hit a tier mid-year and the discount applies immediately for the rest of the year.
Orders totalling $400 or more ship free by standard ground within the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. The Canadian threshold is $450.
There are no contracts, purchase commitments, or inventory quotas. Order what the maintenance schedule calls for, when it calls for it.

The test is straightforward: a commercial account uses lubricants to protect its own vehicles and equipment and does not resell them. If products go back out the door to customers, you need a retail store account or a Dealership instead.
Operations that typically qualify include:
Equipment that works hard is where the account earns its keep. Severe-duty cycles, high hours, heat, and load are exactly the conditions that break down conventional fluids early, and they are the conditions synthetics are built for.
Discounts are based on annual purchase volume in U.S. dollars. Canadian tiers start at $6,000 and $12,000.
| Annual purchase volume | Your pricing |
|---|---|
| $0 to $4,999 | Wholesale |
| $5,000 to $9,999 | Wholesale plus 5% volume discount |
| $10,000 and up | Wholesale plus 10% volume discount |
At the start of each year your discount is locked in based on the previous 12 months of purchases. If your account reaches a higher tier partway through a year, that discount is granted immediately and stays in place for the remainder of the year.
All three buy below standard retail. What separates them is what happens to the products afterward.

Buying for a personal vehicle rather than a business? The Preferred Customer Program is the cheaper route at $20 a year.
Transmissions are usually the first place a hard duty cycle shows up. Heat builds, the fluid thins out, shifts get lazy, and a rebuild lands in the middle of a busy season. Synthetic fluid holds its viscosity longer under that kind of load, which is why fleet and contractor accounts tend to standardize on it.
Match the fluid to the equipment with the automatic transmission fluid range for trucks and light-duty vehicles, the manual transmission fluid range for gearboxes and transaxles, and the hydrostatic transmission fluid range for zero-turn mowers, compact tractors, and skid steers. Powersports fleets and rental operations should start with the powersports transmission fluid range.
Brian & Tracy Klinkner can help match grades across a mixed fleet once the account is active.
Businesses that use lubricants to protect their own vehicles and equipment, but do not resell them, qualify. That covers excavation and off-road contractors, trades and construction contractors, lawn and landscape contractors, regional fleets, and agriculture.
