Racing transmissions see torque spikes that street fluid was never designed to handle. Super Shift Racing Transmission Fluid is built for firm, repeatable clutch engagement under that load, and it resists the heat that causes slippage and poor shift quality.
It is a competition fluid, not a street fluid. The friction characteristics that help a race car can cause erratic shifts in a passenger-car transmission, so AMSOIL does not recommend it as a substitute for a standard automatic transmission fluid.

Why this is not a street multi-vehicle fluid
